PRAYERS

If you know of anyone who is in the hospital or nursing home, please call the church office at 407-886-5943 to let the pastor know, we will arrange a visit and prayers. We encourage you to pray for, visit, call, or send cards to those who are hospitalized, or homebound. It will certainly make a difference in their lives to know that someone cares and is praying for them. We ask you to pray for the following people:

Scott & Sandi Nelson, Earl & Flo Nelson, Til Otterbacher, Hazel Loveland, Betty Caton, Laura Taylor, the Mizell family, Melba Carr, Dorothy Posey, Bob and Judy Weekley, Jerry Ustler, Janet Connelly, Don Overhoser, Carol Bruehl, David & Mary Cae Livingston.

Wednesday March 3rd is our Annual Chili Cook Off. Chili dinners will be $5.00 and all proceeds weill benefit Relay For Life.

Contestants should call the office or email heather.blythe@ocps.net or kathleen.vaive@rotech.com to sign up. Each contestant will prepare one (1) gallon of chili pre-cooked and ready to eat. Each chili will be judged by "Popular Vote", "Color", "Flavor & Heat", "Aroma", "Consistency" and "After Taste"

Bring a new or slightly used purse with a secret prize inside!

**minimum prize value $10**

We want to raise lots of money and everyone to have a great

time, so to help out with ideas for “prizes” to be put inside

your auction purse here are some suggestions below:

*Lottery scratch-off tickets

*Small bottles of perfume or cologne

*Store Gift Cards – Wal-Mart – Publix & Walgreens sell a

wide variety of cards from different stores & restaurants.

*Restaurant Gift Cards

*Scented hand lotions

*CASH

*ALL PROCEEDS from the auction go toward Relay for Life.

Wednesday Night Dinner Schedule

Wednesday March 3rd is our annual Chili Cook Off. Wednesday March 10th Mizell & Co will be cooking another fantastic dinner with the 3rd Annual Relay For Life Purse Auction to follow

Please call the office to make your reservations!

Dinner is served on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of each month, starting at 6:00 p.m. in Ranson Hall, tickets are available at the door for $5.00. If you would like to volunteer to cook please contact the Church office at 407-886-5943.

Wednesday Night Dinners are always looking for a “committee”, Sunday school class or group of “pew buddies” to bang a few pots and pans around in the kitchen! All food is provided (or cost reimbursed) and it doesn’t have to be fancy. Cook something up for our congregation that your own family loves or share a secret recipe that’s been tucked away for years in a dusty cookbook on the shelf. If you would like to cook and need a few extra hands, just let us know – we will be more than glad to help out! See Melinda Anderson or Kathy Vaive (aka Thelma & Louise) for more information.

FLOWER CALENDAR

If you are interested in purchasing a flower arrangement in honor, memory, anniversary or a special day for a particular Sunday Service please contact Flo Nelson at 407-886-2384.

Volunteers for the “After Church Socials” on Sunday mornings are needed! We will provide the goodies and drinks, or you are welcome to bring in your homemade delights. All you need to do is a small amount of set-up and clean-up in the fellowship hall. You can share the duties with a friend or invite a new member to help them get their “feet-wet”. Sign-up on the calendar located in the fellowship hall for a Sunday that’s good for you.

Join us Friday February 26th for Game night! We'll take care of the location & games, you bring the laughter & friends!
